We hope you are all enjoying the summer! We are currently looking at what tournaments and events we wish to hold next year, so stay tuned for more information! We will be holding some UEA exclusive tournaments and freerolls in the coming year, which will be held on Full Tilt Poker, download their software, and register using the link below.

Upcoming Tournaments

First tournament of the year will be Friday Week 2 (2nd October). It is likely to be in Nelson Court Common Room B, but we are looking at other options due to the huge amount of runners we are expecting!

 Whatever happens it is going to be over capacity so early arrival and registration are going to be essential, it will be first come first served.

At the moment the format is unconfirmed (Owe will confirm in the next few days) but it is going to be £5 buy-in and likely to be a freeze or double chance format... Before the tourney stars there will be a short talk just going over rules, strategy and tips for all those beginners... Should be a good evening and lots of fun and banter. It will be BYOB and there will be a break to go to UFO as normal..

Previous Tournaments

The epic last tournament of the semester is here. I think you know what this means. A long list of fun things, that's what:

- Players league will be decided + prizes awarded
- Entry/re-buy/add-on raffle - every player gets a raffle ticket, if you have to re-buy you get another, and another if you add-on. At the end of the break we'll raffle off the tickets and the winner gets a FULL TILT CHIPSET!
You can buy additional tickets for £1!!
- Free BEER and SNACKS
- Mass pizza/Chinese/Indian order
- First 20ish entrants get a deck of used Vegas cards
- Bounties on the committee
- First out prize + Bubble prize
- Winner gets an extra special prize
- Introducing the new committee (hopefully) / say goodbye to me. Bring gifts obv.
- Flips tables
- Cash games 10p 20p and a 20p 40p
- General sickness

The tournament itself:

£15 for 5,000 chips. IF you bust in the first 3 levels you can re-buy for 5,000 more for £15. Then everyone has the option of a £15 10,000 chip add-on at the break.

I plan on taking nothing home with me that I've been given as promo stuff this year.
