SOC MART: This year we had an amazing amount of members come and sign up at soc mart. with 30-40 ladies, and about 150 guys we are on track to make us one of the biggest societies in the University! There will be more information about tournaments, socials and other great opportunities soon so keep checking the site.

BET 365 Student Poker Championship
Congratulations to the UEA team, who took down the BET365 UK online Student Poker Championship. After making it through to the final the team consisting of Adam Rivers, Joe Boyle, James Tidey, Alex Wakeham and Dave Walton, fought off competition from LSE, Leeds and Reading to come top of the table, for $2.5K! for the full write up click HERE

Nightline Charity Tournament
In coordination with UEA Night Line, the UEA Poker Society held it's inaugural charity tournament poker tournament on 3rd March 2009. All though attendance was lower than expected, there was a great mix of UEA regs. and night line members. We were able to raise a reasonable amount of money for the charity, and we hope to be able to do more events like this soon.
The night was finished off with a 10 handed cash game, of 2-7 NLH, and there was obviously great banter! Check out the pictures in the gallery section.. Especially the one of Adam, taken after he had insta. volunteered to teach some girls how to play! ;)
