Committee Anounced!
We
have finalised the committee for the next academic year
(2009-10)
Adam is leaving the committee, but will
still be there in all his degenerate form most weeks. The
Swedish shark Owe is taking over Adam's position, and I'm sure
he will continue in Adam's great work..
Dave is also joining the committee this year, after supporting the society tirelessly, and helping basically every week, and of course being the main source of banter..

- Attend nearly every tournament.
- Help set up before hand.
- Usually have responsibility for all chips, cards, covers.

Mark
Brown - Treasurer
Mark is taking over from Joe as
treasurer, handling the financial aspects of the society. Last
year he was IT Officer, and this year he will continue to keep
the site updated, as now it is all so great, it wont take much
work to just keep things going.
I will be in the
third year of a law degree. I have been playing poker for about 3 years,
and seriously for about 2, I mainly plays live sit n' gos or
cash, but can also be found on all the major poker sites. I play
as shipfoldship on BestPoker, where I can be found playing SNGs
and HU, and on PartyPoker as UEAPokerStar, where I can generally
be found playing on tight low stakes cash tables, bullying ftw..

I vary my style hugely depending on what I think is the best
strategy. But in general am much looser online than live.

years. Play mostly live cash games and tournaments back home
but a fair bit online at uni also mainly on will hill and
occasionally full tilt both under golferJT.
Fairly
tight-aggressive player id say, mainly targets weak players such
as Boyle for bluffs (10 8 lol)

Alex Wakeham - Social Secretary
Alex has been playing poker for 5 years
(badly for 4). He is generally known as a solid tight player but
has been known for a few cheeky bluffs, often going horribly
wrong (7-4 off ftw.)
He plays online at Fulltilt under the name
'wakes123', usually playing cash games and low stakes mtt. He
also occasionally plays live tournaments down his local casino.

I have been playing poker for around 5 years now. I play mostly live cash games particularly at casinos and at Norwich Poker Club stakes ranging from 50-1 cash to 4-8 cash. I also play a bit online at full tilt under the name DeadmanAce8. Also play tournaments at NPC but play 100/ 200 freeze outs at home with the occasional re-buy tourney. Style of play changes in tourneys I'm ultra tight and aggressive, cash games I generally play loose aggressive and love to make the hero calls. I target anyone I see as a weak player, and for the record I am not a fish usually unlike my reputation suggests.
